The Perfect Present announces The Toothfairy*s Baby Tooth Bank, designed to harness children's imagination and encourage them to brush their teeth. The bank stores both collected baby teeth and tooth fairy money. When a baby tooth falls out, parent and child together can try to predict how much money the tooth fairy will leave based on the tooth's relative cleanliness compared to the other teeth saved in the bank. According to the manufacturer, a child will quickly realize the cause-effect relationship and spend more time brushing. For more information, visit www.TFAIRY.com.

3WM ESPE™ announces the 3M™ ESPpM Retraction Capsule, the first gingival retraction system that delivers astringent retraction paste using common composite dispensers. According to the manufacturer, the innovative system can cut up to half the time from the gingival retraction compared to retraction cords, and is up to 30 percent faster than the leading retraction paste while effectively deflecting the marginal gingiva and providing long-lasting hemostasis. Shaped like a hummingbird's bill, the capsule's patented extrafine tip is designed to actively open the sulcus and easily deliver the high-viscous astringent paste. After two minutes, the paste can be removed with an air-water spray. Each unit-dose retraction capsule contains 15 percent aluminum chloride. Because it's disposable, there are fewer preparation and process steps than competitive pastes. Retraction capsules are suited for any situation where a temporary retraction of the marginal gingiva and a dry and clean sulcus are required.
